NICO KRAMER

Nico Kramer is a Berlin-based photographer and creative director with a passion for intuitive work and an abstract perspective on his subjects. Inspired by creative influences and the beauty of imperfection, he enjoys collaborating with artists to capture raw, authentic moments. His style blends cinematic storytelling, natural light, and a spontaneous, abstract approach, transforming everyday moments into unique and timeless visual art.

Recently, his creative direction has been influenced by the experimental design language of David Carson, known for his rule-breaking, deconstructed typography and expressive, chaotic visual style. This shift towards unconventional layouts and a more instinctive visual rhythm reflects Nico’s own evolving approach.

He is also inspired by retro PlayStation 1 graphic aesthetics, early 3D visual culture, and gritty, deconstructed typographic styles that embrace distortion, texture, and imperfection. These influences deepen his interest in raw digital tactility and non-linear visual storytelling, which increasingly shape his photographic and directorial work.

During his time at university, he discovered a deep passion for fashion and music within culture and advertising. In 2023, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Photography at FH Dortmund.
